Installation Specifications
The following technical services need to be completed by the client prior to the installation.

Plumbing
  • Cold water inlet - All the Mocha Retro 65 (and Elektra) commercial espresso machines range require a direct cold water line with a ½" male stop cock valve to be situated underneath the bench where the espresso machine will be positioned.

  • Drainage - In a commercial environment a tun dish, "S" trap or drain needs to be provided directly under neath the bench supporting the espresso machine.
In a residential or office environment the machines are generally connected to an existing "S" trap. The ideal positioning is generally near a sink and the machines drain hose is connected to the sinks "S" trap.

Electrical
The 1 group Mocha Retro 65 commercial espresso machines draw 2000 watts and can generally be plugged into a normal 10 amp socket. Please check with your electrician on the circuit you wish to plug into so as not over load the line.

The 2 group Mocha Retro 65 commercial espresso machines draw 4500 watts and require a 20 amp flat pin dedicated circuit per machine with an isolating switch situated underneath the bench where the espresso machine will be positioned.

The 3 group Mocha Retro 65 commercial espresso machines draw 6000 watts and require a 25 amp dedicated circuit per machine. Only the 3 group machines require to be direct wired hence, a qualified electrician needs to be available on the time of installation. The isolating switch is to be situated underneath the bench where the espresso machine will be positioned.
