Mocha Choc
Mocha choc is an exclusive blend of chocolate powder designed to add that unmistakably mouth watering rich earthy, truffle-like flavour to all hot and cold beverages.
Mocha choc is ideal in hot chocolates, sprinkled over creamy cappuccino’s also used in mocha’s, Iced chocolates, Iced mocha’s and for a traditional chocolate flavoured milk shake. Mocha Choc is very popular in many commercial kitchens in preparing home made cakes.
Storage
To retain the velvety dry powdery texture, flavour and aroma of our premium Mocha choc, once packet is opened ensure the contents are stored in an opaque airtight container in a cool dry area away from sunlight and chemicals which may affect the flavour of our premium chocolate.
Mocha Choc Sauce
Dissolved in hot water prepares an excellent chocolate sauce for garnishing desserts used in iced chocolates, iced mochas and chocolate milk shakes.
When preparing hot beverages, you may either use the Mocha Choc powder or the Mocha Choc Sauce. It is purely a personal preference.
Preparation
Pour 1 kilo of Mocha Choc into a bowl, add a small amount of hot water and gently whisk. Whilst whisking ingredients keep adding small amounts of hot water until a thick creamy consistency. Let ingredients cool slightly and pour into squeeze type plastic sauce bottles and let stand until cool. Once sauce cools place lid on bottle. If mixture thickens and is difficult to flow, place sauce bottle in a bowl with hot water until mixture softens. You may require adding a little hot water to the mixture.
Storage
Ensure to date bottles and store in the refrigerator. Do not secure lids on hot sauce bottles or place hot sauce in the refrigerator.
