Our first roast…
It was 21 years ago today …
The year was 1987 when John Mannassis’ vision to ensure the family developed a long term quality product which would be recognised as a premium brand with a European influence was born.
|
The first irresistible aroma was roasted on the 17th of December 1987 in the original roasting house in Newtown. Full of Passion and enthusiasm, Paul and Maria set out wholesaling and retailing their freshly roasted specialty coffees to café’s, restaurants, offices and all lovers of freshly roasted coffee. With increasing demand the operation moved to larger premises in Marrickville.
At this time Mocha Coffee expanded their facility and highly qualified staff to provide in house technical expertise, including a Barista training facility as well strong sales support.
Mocha Coffee has emerged as one of Australia’s most successful suppliers of freshly roasted gourmet coffee, contributing to the development of Australia’s coffee culture. |
